Subcoe offers variable speed generator packages either skid mounted or installed within sound deadened enclosures certified for shipping via sea freight. Both options can also be ordered with secondary oil field type skid bases for rugged duty.

Variable frequency generators offer the end user an opportunity to drive connected submersible pumps at any frequency between 45 and 65 Hertz. Once coupled to a Subcoe Multi-tapped Step Up Transformer and Medium Voltage Switchboard the unit offers end users a flexible and reliable package for fixed installations or for site well testing. Using a variable frequency generator enables well testing over a range of operating frequencies without having to use a variable frequency drive (VFD). There are many advantages to not transporting expensive and complex VFD’s to remote sites during the testing stage of new wells.

Subcoe uses quality Caterpillar Industrial Engines and Stamford Generators. Woodward governors and Basler regulators complete the package. Subcoe is able to custom tailor each package to client specifications no matter how rigid they may be.

Shown here is a newly completed unit for use as a well testing package. This module uses a Cat 3406C DITA 536 HP 1800 RPM 6 cylinder diesel engine. The engine is coupled to a Stamford HCI 504F1-0, 528 kw (660 kva), 12 lead, single bearing generator all mounted on an 8 inch I-beam skid. The re-certified after modifications sea freight container includes an on-board 900 imperial gallon fuel tank with site glass and a 600 amp molded case circuit breaker. Interior lighting and convenience receptacles complete the package.
